LUSH products

My goodness I'm so so sorry I'm a terrible person. I may have led you into thinking that I've changed my ways and will be posting more often but I did warn you that it would be harder once school started but that's no excuse I know.

So last Sunday I went to LUSH and spent ages in there looking and smelling every product I could. That was my first real good look at LUSH as I had no time limit and wanted to make sure I was getting the products I wanted the most. I ended up getting two ballistic bath bombs and two 100gms soaps. I've already used one of the soaps but the rest are still beautifully wrapped and you won't get to see what's inside until I use them. But you can always look them up on the LUSH website.

So here is my LUSH load.
So I already used the Porridge Soap and it smells scrumptious. This is what 100g grams looks like. Not very much for $6.50 I know but the soap is creamy and silky. It's a bit rough applying it though - because of the bits of porridge and I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you're shaving but in terms of smell, it's one of the only ones I really liked and I would definitely recommend it. Also if you're wondering whether the porridge bits block your drain, I asked the girl in the shop the same question and she said that, from experience that had never happened to her, and it hasn't happened to be so far so that's good. The porridge bits are quite small anyway so you should be fine.
The Miranda Soap is also one of the only three soap smells (that they had in that shop) that I like and it smells really nice and gentle but still strong enough to have an effect. Obviously I haven't used it yet as it's still in it's lovely Lush Fighting Against Animal Testing paper. I think this would be good as a shower soap.
I was pleasantly surprised at the smell of this Honey Bee Bath Ballistic. The smell is simple, light and soothing.
Smells amazing, looks amazing. Its the Phoenix Rising Bath Ballistic

The 3rd favourite smelling soap that I didn't buy was the Godmother Soap which I was also pleasantly surprised to have liked but it is an extremely strong smelling soap so if you do get it (or if I do) I would definitely use it as a hand soap.
Although I recommend these products, I am definitely not saying you should order them online without smelling them first. Only buy online if you've used/smelled the product first because I found that a lot of the things that I thought would smell nice didn't appeal to me and a lot of the products that seemed uninteresting were actually some of the ones I bought and liked. Besides everyone likes different smells and what I might like, you may not. I am simple giving you descriptions of what the product is like and what I like.

That's all for now. I really want to try to post more but we'll just see how it goes. I don't really read books and I'm terrible at deciding whether I like movies or not and why so there probably won't be many reviews although I will try. I am seeing Saving Mr Banks tomorrow with my grandparents before it ends so I hope that it will be good. I'm no good at writing stories either; short or long.

Anyways, ta ta for now,
Jody

Oops! Forgot!

Sorry guys,

There were some things I wanted to show you yesterday and the day before but I forgot about it sorry.
So I'll show you now :) So some of them are from DFO on Wednesday and some are from Top Ryde Shopping Centre which I went to for the first time yesterday. Actually rather disappointing. There wasn't much there but I did get a pair of sunglasses from Valley girl for $10 which I'll show you in another post.
Biggest Bed Bath N Table I've ever seen!! (DFO Wednesday)
Fox pillow! (Wed)
Love this room (besides the poncho sticking out from the left which is my mum - not that I don't love my mum. I should stop now) DFO Wednesday
Cute back but not as cute as the one below!! (Strandbags, Top Ryde)
Oh, my, goodness, look at this bag! I loved it so much and it was on sale so I should've got it but I didn't and I'm soo regretting it!! In fact I loved it so much I had to add it to my wishlist post I published yesterday.
Oh my goodness, I die. Most beautiful tea light holder I've ever seen. •WANT• •WANT• •WANT• (DFO)
CUTE, CUTE, CUTE. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I just love Bed Bath N Table, they have the cutest stuff. (DFO)
Omg I love this parrot unfortunately I didn't know the flash was on and it was awkward to take another picture. (Habitana Top Ryde)
I love these tins and I'd never seen a Stamp Set one before so I just had to take a picture of it :)

Yes well that's that. Actually a rather pointless post as I don't think it inspired you much but there it is. And I just had to show you that bag which I'm still regretting not buying as it was on sale and I can't remember how much it was but I think it was like 20 bucks or something so yeah. Annoyed at myself but anyway, it's up on my wishlist now. Today we might go into the City and see what's happening with the Sydney Festival.

Ta ta for now,
Jody

DFO shopping

Hi guys,

Today I went shopping (again) with my mum and this time we went to DFO (Direct Factory Outlets) and I got stuff from Typo, ESPIRIT and Rivers.

First of all, I got this shirt (and this reusable bag) from Rivers
This shirt was only $6!!

Then, I got these from ESPIRIT
Black singlet $7.47. Striped tank top $12.48

And I got these cuties from Typo
The most adorable fox travel wallet was only $10 today!!
Yikes, sorry it's so bright
I've been wanting to get lucky lanterns from Typo for a while. But today I made the move to actually buy one and I don't regret it! I can't wait to hang them in my bedroom! The lucky lanterns were $15.
These novelty salt & pepper shakers were only $3! I'd seen them before but I didn't buy them because I didn't think we had ground salt and pepper but my mum saw these and she said she wanted to buy them and that we did have ground salt and pepper so it turned out perfect because we both like them and I didn't have to pay for them :)

My mum and I chose these from Freedom furniture for $7.15 each. And we got a free tent with our purchase :)

Shopping Again

Hi guys,

This afternoon I went shopping to get an iTunes gift card so I could buy

'Les Misérables (The Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Deluxe Edition]'

I watched the movie in 3D in 2012 and loved it and I've been wanting to get the CD for some time now so I finally got it, and I love it :)

And while I was wandering around Chatswood shopping centre I couldn't resist a peak into Diva and ended up spending $23.

So here are the items I bought
I already have one of these but it was on sale and the little charms are so cute and you can do almost anything with them
I found this cute little fox ring which is surprising because I haven't seen fox items in Diva before. I also don't usually buy rings because I have fat fingers and their rings don't fit but this one kind of fits my pinky although it's a little snug. Unfortuately the only other size they have is too big for my pinky and too small for the rest of my fingers but I just had to get this guy. He wasn't on sale though, I paid $6 for him.
I wanted to get this last time but I was deterred by the price I think so when I saw it was on sale I thought, perfect! It has my horoscope which is Libra (obviously).
This charm bracelet was so adorable I just had to get it as well...
And I love it!
If you have $7 on hand, I would recommend this cute charm bracelet (while it's still on sale). You can where it whether you have a skinny arm or a thick-ish one (like me) because you can adjust it. It's just such a sweet bracelet and the charms aren't too girly or too vintage or too cheesy or anything. And I love the way it kind of jingles as you move.
So cute!

So that's it today, sorry it took so long to put up but I hope you enjoy it none the less :)

The Body Shop

Heeelllooo guuuyyss,

Phew, I am so tired. First of all because I went to bed at midnight and I woke up at about 9:45. Now, it doesn't matter what time I wake up, I will always be tired after going to bed late. And after going to bed this late for a quite a while now, I'm just so tired and it is killing me. But also I'm kind of exhausted right now because I've just been shopping for hours. But I did get something out of it though. I went to The Body Shop with my mum and she had a $50 gift voucher which expires in February. So she allowed me to use some of it with her. I would've had to spend less of my own money if she didn't decide to get a facial cream thingy at the end but oh well. Today I discovered that my new favourite flavour from the Body Shop is Brazil Nut. It, is, the best! If you do not know what I'm talking about, get your ass over to the Body Shop right now and take a wiff of it because my two top flavours from the Body Shop has changed from being Coconut and Vanilla to Brazil Nut and Coconut. So today, I got a Brazil Nut Shower Cream which smells heavenly and a Coconut Body Mist.

They also had a Body Mist in Brazil Nut which again, smelt amazing. But the body mists costs $23.95 each and I already had a the shower cream in brazil nut so I didn't get it. But as soon as the shower cream runs out I'm buying it in a body mist! By the way the shower cream was $12.95 and if you don't know the difference between a shower cream and a shower gel, the cream is a little bit more moisturizing but you use it for the same purposes.

Afterwards we did a bit more looking around and we stopped at the house of Target and of course, I spent all my time in the beauty section. I wanted to get some Burt's Bees products but ended up not getting any (typical) I did like the look of this $10 value pack though which had a hand and cuticle cream thing - which was recommended on Wonderful You which is why I was looking for it - and a Beeswax lip balm. It also came in the Refreshing Grapefruit Lip Balm which I really wanted to know what that smelt like but unfortunately there are no testers for the lip balms :( so I ended up just admiring them and trying on the tinted lip balm which when I put it on, stung my lips because it had peppermint in it which was unfortunate because I really loved the colour. Oh and plus, I don't really need a hand and cuticle cream. I'm a teenager not an old woman, my hands and nails are fine (apart from the horrible red stain that hasn't come off from the cheap red nail polish I bought for Christmas).
Sometimes I wish I had a little girl to buy things for - is that weird?

Admiring the nail polish (as always)
This looked so amazing but when I thought about it there was only one I really wanted (the one on the far left). But it was $5!! That's $1 a bottle!
These also looked delicious but I already have a 3 pack of sorbet coloured nail polish which I think I've mentioned in a previous post.

The Triple Shine on the right is exactly like the one in Beauty Attitude:Seeing Stars but it was $10 and I don't usually pay for more than $7 for a bottle of nail polish :) especially of a bottle that small (it looks big but it's actually quite small, it's just the lid makes up for half the bottle). So yeah that was two new ranges I hadn't seen before; the Nicole by O.P.I and the Triple Shine by Sally Hansen. The Nicole by O.P.I had a funny shape to it but it had some really nice colours and that was $12.95 each.

I used a new app - Pic Stitch - to create the layout of those photos. You have to make a few in-app purchases to get all the features but it doesn't cost that much and you can even create your own layout. Unfortunately I didn't have enough money left on my account to get the 'Borders Pack' so the as you can see the border is a bit thick. But so far, so good.

Lush obsession and my week cont.d

Hi guys, yesterday I told you that I was starting to get obsessed with Lush. Well, I don't think I'm obsessed but I definitely do love it right now. Last night I used the Snowcake Soap and it made me smell so nice....mmmm.....that sounds a bit weird.... It's hard to describe the kind of scent it was. It wasn't very distinctive; like it isn't a flavour. It just....smelled......clean.....
It was so hard trying to use the soap without rubbing off all the golden sparkles but I ended rubbing off a lot of sparkle anyway :(
Anyway, I'm probably not going to use my bath bombs for a veeerryyy long time as they are so precious (and not cheap) and I don't want to waste them even though I really want to try them.

The Snowcake soap after I had rubbed away a lot of the golden sparkles on top

My box of LUSH goodies :D (minus the soap)
My hands before I had even taken the soap out of the packet - already covered in gold!

I also went shopping at Typo yesterday and I bought..... Airline Bag Black, 2 rolls of Christmas wrap (which I don't think look Christmassy at all so I'm going to use them for birthdays), a Tote Bag with a cute forest print (I saw the fox on it and had to get it), a Red Transforma Tablet (which is now on my iPad), a little Tiny Book which is actually a storage compartment (I thought it would be good to put a little present in e.g. jewellery), and a 2014 Peanuts Calendar :) Yay!
So as you can see I also have a bit of an obsession with Typo. I seriously have little self control when shopping; I just, love, everything!
Plus there was a sale.

Oh oh oh! And I found this little website (well, you've probably all found it before me as it was the top hit on Google) which print your Instagram pictures and it's sooooooooooo cute!!! My favourites are the Stickers and the Mini Book. And everything is so mini!
If you want to print your Instagram pictures in a book but not a mini book, Blurb is a good website to go to. They also print your pictures in different layouts (e.g. cookbook, photo journal) but I think the Instagram book is cute and easy to do. You can also sell your book online! They do all the work for you. You just set the amount of profit you want to make and they sell your book.

Well I think that's all for now,
Thank you for supporting this blog,

Jody
