Sorry its been so long

Wow, its the last day of February and I haven't made a post since Christmas. Does that mean tomorrow's Autumn? Felt like it this afternoon.

Thoughts running through my head at this moment:

I am just dying to get an iPhone but I don't want to pay that much and I want to see what the iPhone 6 is gonna have but I don't want to wait until next year in June to find out what the iPhone 6 features will be. Another factor of this problem is that it costs too bl**dy much.

Year 9 is a pain in the arse...bum......already. Year 7 & 8 is so much easier. It doesn't seem like it at the time but when it gets harder that's when you realise how much more relaxing the first 2 years of high school are.  Apart from the fact that you're in a new school, with different people, and different routines ect ect. In my opinion, high school sucks. And even though adults and some older teen will say its the best years of your life, its really your opinion. Don't feel like you need to listen to that if you don't believe it. Some people love or loved it, some people hate or hated it. Its just your opinion.

According to Facebook, the filming of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries Series 2 is on its way. But for the moment I've been watching The Dr Blake Mysteries on Friday and borrowing DVDs from the library which include New Tricks and Agatha Christie - she's not my favourite but still pretty good. So Dr Blake's been alright but I think Miss Fisher's is my all-time favourite. New Tricks comes close in second. Plus the theme songs for New Tricks and Miss Fisher's are really catchy :) It's like with a movie, the soundtrack is what makes it a good movie. But unlike movies its not as important. But music in film is always important. It can be a catchy tune, it can set the mood, and it can be just PERFECT for that scene, movie, or whatever is happening. Like Indiana Jones or Star Wars and many other great soundtracks that you will immediately recognise when you hear someone singing it.

I just watched 'Singin in the Rain' like 6 times. Well actually I watched the full movie only twice and then I kept skipping to my favourite parts. I love a good musical. And that was a good musical........With tap dancing!.....With great tap dancing!....And great songs!...What more could you want?
I also watched quite a few films. One of the most recent being Les Miserables. And that was also a good musical. Quite unlike any other musical I've seen actually - because it way quite emotional and sad unlike Mary Poppins and so on which is quite....jolly - but it was still very good.

What else is there to say? Not much really. I haven't been doing that much craft. Have made some jewellery....not much though. Which reminds me, If you live near or in Sydney then come on down to Studio 20/17 at 2 Danks street, Waterloo, New South Wales and come see the solo exhibition from Melinda Young 'The world is a pearl'. Is running from the 5th to the 23rd of March.

I can't think of a quote but I'll leave you with a cute little volpe :)

Btw, sorry its been so long since I last posted. Sometimes you cant be bothered you know? (And most of the time I just kinda forget). How do people do this for a living? Well, I guess they are doing it for a living, so if you're getting paid that's probably a good motivation. Reminds me of 'Messy' which I'm currently reading. It's the sequel to 'Spoiled' by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan, the writers of the blog Go Fug Yourself. If you haven't read 'Spoiled' you should probably read it. Its quite a good book. 'Messy' kind of reminds me of a second movie - its hardly ever as good as or better than the first. So yeah, 'Spoiled' is good, 'Messy' is okay.

Oh and one more thing, I've changed the font of the blog as you may have noticed and I put up a new poll so check it out. Thanks :)

I do not own these images
